What you need to know and remember!!!!

• It is compulsory to register with SARS – No model/child can be promoted without the SARS (TAX) number. Go to SARS and ask for an IT 77 form. You need to take a certified copy of birth certificate and bank details in the model / child’s name with. Fax TAX number to Kidz2000 / Louis B Models - 021 910 4215. Always keep your child / models TAX number on you for castings, they might ask for it.
• When you receive a sms for a casting, please sms your answer with a yes or no and models name to the cell number provided in the sms as soon as possible. We need to give attendance lists. All the information of the casting will be in the sms, read carefully, if there is a specific wardrobe necessary we will put it in the sms for you. Sometimes you will receive two sms’s, please don’t phone us we are extremely busy.
• After a casting a shortlist is created, it’s called “First option”, if you are asked options between certain dates and you confirm availability you MUST be available and please sms to 0828358627 ASAP to confirm with child’s name and “yes” or “ No”. It is not a guarantee that the models have been confirmed.
• A booking is when the client confirms you for the actual job, you will be phoned with all the information and maps or addresses will be provided via e-mail, fax or sms. You will get paid. And please after each shoot e-mail kidz2000@mweb.co.za or sms through the times you have been on set and if they ask you to come back the next day please let us know.
• Payment of models can take between 90 and 120 working days. Payment example:

     R1 000.00 – 20 % Model Fee = R833.33
     R 833.33 x 20% Agency Fee = R166.66
     R 833.33 x 25 % PAYE (TAX) = R208.33 (can be claimed back, SARS)
     R 166.66 x 14% VAT = R23.33
     R 833.33 – R398.31 (Deductions) = R435.02

• Model will receive after all deductions.   (This is according to CAMA rules.) Models can earn from R200.00 to R185 000.00 per job.
• If you require a statement for work done, please email kidz2000@mweb.co.za with the models name and a statement will be sent to you after month end.
• It is the parent’s responsibility to phone the office every six months for a FREE update. (021 910 3936) Babies need to update more often.
• We can only promote the model / child, no work can be guaranteed, it is the client’s choice who will get the work but we have a high booking rate.
• When the model / child are on set, ask for a website address, e-mail address, contact name and number or when the catalogue or ad will appear. We do not receive this information. It’s very seldom that we receive the final product. When we receive it we will always contact the parents or models. Unfortunately we are extremely busy in season time and can’t follow up on all the jobs for all the children / models.
• NB – Remember we do not receive rates with all our briefs upfront, if we do it can change right up until the shoot. On our website (www.kidz2000.co.za) under CAMA is a guideline with rates.
• There are popular ages and height groups, your child might work this season and the next very little or none at all, depending on the height. Not every child in a family will work the same. Example – we have twins and one will work and the other not at all, sometimes the personality might be different or the height. We promote all our  models the same.
